It happend tonight in LA
While I was driving straight uner 35mph in 35mph zone, somebody hit the right front door of my car with his suv over 40mph and ran away. I pursued that for 10min and my sister wrote the plate number directly and reported to 911. 911 operator told me to stop following and wait for a police officer, I stopped directly, waited for the police officer for 20min but nobody came so I came home.
Now what should I do? Do I need to report again or call my insurance company that I have coverage for damage of other cars? I also have video clips of the sitiuation recorded with my dvr.
