Where to have an outdoor wedding ceremony and/or reception on lake in Northern Michigan?

My lovely bride to be and I are trying to find a place to have an outdoor wedding in northern Michigan. We live in Traverse City and we'd like something close to this area. Within an hour and a half. The reception doesn't have to be at the same place. The ceremony itself we want outside with a view of the bay or Lake Michigan. I appreciate any thoughts/input. Thank You !!!

My cousin got married up that way somewhere, but I don't remember where exactly it was at (maybe Elk Rapids or Acme???). The place they rented was like an old civic theater (it have a stage). It was beautiful and there weas very ornate tin ceiling tiles. Then right across the road was a park that was right on the water.

Also, maybe your could check out a few of the bed and breakfasts in your area, maybe they are near the water.
