Hello,
I bought a dirt bike a year or so ago, and to make a long story short, the timing chain stretched out, and the piston rings went bad. The brand was supposed to be an Apollo, but I think they sent me a Xtreme something. It's a 250 cc 4-stroke engine. Where would be a good site to find these parts online, since no where local has them. The dimensions are below.
For the Piston rings.
Bore approx. 2.577'' or 65.5mm
Rings - approx. .030'' or 1/32'' or 8mm
Oil Ring Groove - .110'' or 3mm
For the timing chain.
Chain - 104 links
Chain pitch - approx. 6mm or 1/4''
Chain width (thickness of cam gear) - .190'' or 5mm.
Does anyone know where I can order these parts, or even had them made if need be? I also want a good brand if possible, so the bike doesn't break down again (at least anytime soon). Thanks in advanced!
