i have a hyundai coupe 1.6: 16v (2001 special edition) and i want to fit a more powerful engine in the car. I was thinking of a GTI engine, i know it would cost alot but money is not an issue as its a project, my question is where do i find a GTI engine for this car? do they have to be specially made? another question. These cars also come in a 2.3 V6 edition, i have found a spare hyundai coupe V6 engine for £800, in good condition, would it be possible to fit this in car exisiting 1.6 version? if yes what else would have to be changed.
