The part I am trying to find looks similar to a power-strip/surge protector. What is does, though, is to allow multiple devices to be hooked up to a component stereo receiver, by sharing the few available connection ports. How it works is that the user flips a switch, which "tells" the strip which units to feed to the receiver. Any unit not selected will not feed signal to the receiver. In the past, several of my friends had such "distribution strips", so that they did not have to un-plug devices, everytime they wanted to switch units. I just forgot to remember what the NAME, Product number, or identification, of the unit is. I never thought I would need such a unit, but now I do. Does anybody know what such a "dustributor" is called, where to find/order/buy one, and what the price might be?
