I live in St.Louis, mo and need a lawyer that deals with identity theft. I have had my licsense suspended due to someone having a wreck and saying they were me. No police report, I have never been served papers. There was a court date where I never showed up due to not knowing, with a decision against me, which wants me to pay $5000 in damages to reinstate my licsense . I am having trouble getting work due to the suspended liscense. I didnt do anything, I have insurance and had no wrecks in years. How do I fix my life?
plus i got pulled over and was told i was driving with a suspended licsense, so now i have to deal with that ticket, those end up in huge fines or jail time.
I have been pulled over before without an id and just gave my ss number. Matter of fact i got a ticket for not having my id on my in the car.
The wreck is on file, there was no police report at the wreck. No info was exchanged with police, was with the person who said they were me and the people that were hit. NO police were ever involved.
