I installed a new deck and I spliced the wires there onto the deck's harness. But the Deck harness doesn't call for an illumination wire or a dimmer wire so I left them out. The radio and everything works fine but when I try to turn on the lights for the jeep the headlights DO work, but the dashboard lights and shift lights don't turn on. So where do I connect those two extra wires?

I did chop the wires down so they wouldn't touch anything so I'm almost positive it didn't ground anything out. Theres got to be somewhere to connect those wires to though, I don't like just leaving them out
