Where to camp in scotland?

Me and my friend are looking to go camping at the weekend. Looking for a place where we can set up our tent and be left alone for the day. We are planning on just having a great camping day of sitting and drinking but we want to be secluded we dont want anyone else near by. Is there anywhere you can go to do this? I was told you cannot camp anywhere in scotland you need to go to a camp site? But does the camp site have to be in like a park with other people and how expensive is it?
 
You can camp away from campsites if you wish to. There are open access rights in scotland. Just look up wilderness camping scotland on google.
