I am going to buy Nokia E50.
The possible sellers: ????from ebay: wireless_experts, cellz4less
Outside ebay: mobilebee.com, tigerdirect.com

The requirements: English letters only on keyboard, default menues: English.

If you have some experience of buying Nokia smartphones from these (and other) sellers, pls tell me.

Thanks

I bought my N91 from mobilebee. I got the asian version, but it has a normal english keypad. Overall, the experience of buying from them was great. Ordered on thursday evening, phone was delivered early monday morning, no hassles and i got the color i asked for.
There are a couple of other sites as well, including phonesource-usa.com, importgsm.com, simoncells.com and so on. You might want to check all the websites to see which site gives you the lowest price.

Also, i'd suggest u call them and ask them about things like warranty and retun policies aas well.

yes, there are 2 options available: english and chinese (atleast i think its chinese). The phone came with english as the default language tho.

My friend's ordered from them as well, but he got a european 6600. And when i spoke with them, they did say they don't keep any phones with them in stock. They have a system where your phone could be delivered from any one of their suppliers. So, u might end up getting a european phone and not an asian one.

it has English, Malay, Simp Chinese lang option

Do you experience ant problem related to Asian languages (menues, internet connectivity settings, Nokia Pc Suite, other SW)? I mean is it completely usable in US (with US GSM providers) + roaming in Europe.

I am asking this because my friend can not use SMS editor on his phone (not E50 and not from mobilebee, but still...)because of Chinese characters in the editor.

it should be OK
I have several Hong Kong version phones using in US, and don't encounter problem

Bought my E50 from wireless_experts off ebay 2 weeks ago, phone works great in the USA, full connectivity on Cingular, I can connect using my laptop and all

Finally got around to getting on HF to find some good software for it and I like what I found.

You could call up the online stores or email the ebay sellers (refer to the posts above for the sellers) and ask them if they have the white one in stock. That's what i did for my N91. I called up mobilebee and asked them if they had the black N91.

I could only find one dealer that had the White with Camera variant of the E50.

tigerdirect dot com

Does anyone have any experience or feedback they would like to share about this vender i would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I've never bought phones from TigerDirect but used them in the (distant) parts for computer parts, software, and the like. They were perfectly fine.

Tigerdirect is find except they are known for being terrible with rebates-as in, you'll never get them.

I looked up Tigerdirect on the BBB and they have recieved 980 complaints in the last 36 months. Allot of people have complained about bait and switch practices by this company.

Im going to check out HKS. They dont have a white one advertised specifically.

Thanks for the feedback.
