Where to buy replacement joystick? (E70)

So I'm starting to have problems with the center click on my joystick. It works about 80% of the time and is made doubly annoying by the lack of UI feedback in s60v3. (I click on the calender app and have to wait 5 seconds before I know whether the app is slow to load or the click didn't take).

cnn.cn doesn't seem to carry the joystick. Anyone know of any other sources?

ps - Some people have suggested using compressed air, I have done this as best I can without disassembling the phone. Didn't seem to help much, but perhaps you can't get to the contacts without disassembling the phone.

Where do you live? Perhaps the joystick can be ordered through the Nokia stores in Chicago or New York.

BTW: if you do find a replacement joystick your going to have to disassemble the handset anyway so trying it now and hitting it with pressurized air may not be a bad idea.

did you ever find one? is urs e70-2? mine is.. and atm my joystick is screwed. u press it and it just starts scrolling through whatever it is ur on.. making it impossible to select anything.. every now and then its fine, but for the past few hours its bin really bad.. any ideaS?

Not a clue... but since you have an E70-2, Nokia USA will at least service it. Maybe you should just send it in.

im in canada, i bought it on vacation, i called them and told them whats up, they said they couldnt ship it back to canada, also im worried that they wont take it- and charge me.. but im begining to think its my best bet u kno?
