Why is it that whenever someone is supposed to be somewhere, they aren't?! Yesterday RHA was supposed to go to Wal-Mart to get things for Homecoming week. So I trudge my sick ass across campus to go to meet the other execs in the office to go get it all over with. Well, the time to meet and leave comes and goes and I'm the only one there. I call our president.
"Hey, Katie, where are you all?"
"Oh, I forgot to tell you, we aren't going shopping today because I have a couple of tests tomorrow to study for and Kris is sick."
/me fumes
"Ok."
"Are you free tomorrow after our meeting? Cuz I was thinking we could go then."
/me thinks of course you thought that
"As of right now I'm free."
"Ok, Great! See you tomorrow."
WTFucking FUCK?! Next time give me a fucking curtousy call. I had two tests today also and I've been sick as a lepper since Thursday. *GAH!* Maybe I'm just not being flexable, but I get left out of the info loop a lot.
Also, there was this RSO (recognized student organization) Fair today on campus. I had to sign us up because people wanted us represented. That's all fine. I couldn't be there right at 11 when it started, but I came at noon and nobody was there working a booth for us.
I called Sam, who said she would be there the whole time, and got her voice mail. If nobody wants to show up, then don't make me go through the trouble of filling out forms to have a slot. By the time I could have gotten all our stuff from the office and set everything up, the fair would have been over. This disregard for being where you're supposed to be when you're supposed to be there really pisses me off and if nobody is going to take this seriously, then why should I?
