where should i put my fish while doing a water change? Need answer ASAP?

i dont have anywhere to put them that has a filter while i do a water change... also, should i turn the filer off while i take 20% out? i have two fish about 1 inch long anyways idk where to put them.. should i leave them in while i do it? also, i need to get it done in the next hour, so i really need help here.

OO has anyone heard of the R2 Fish school? it looks so kool i have always wanted to teach my pets tricks so do ya think i should get it!!!? it looks cool and everyone ive seen on utube get it has liked it :D
 
You don't need to take out your fish unless you are doing a large water change I'm pretty sure. I think I've changed close to 50% before and left them in.. Normally though I think I do about 25%
 
when your doing water change get a bowl thats you could cover
or if you have like 3 or 2 fishes put them in a cup as much as fit
