After college and med school I'm trying to figure out where I would like to move to and make my permanent residence. I'd like to find a place that isn't a terribly small town but is big enough that it has enough stores to buy what I need and some entertainment as well. It would also have to be not so far out into the country that it's isolated but it's close enough to the outdoors that I can go off and explore, hunt, fish, and do all sorts of other activities when I have time. Temperature wise I'd want it to get to be about 80 degrees at the highest in the summer and to 0 degrees at the lowest in the winter. I grew up in Lake area of NY so I've come to like cold and snowy winters to an extent. On the other hand, I do NOT like very hot weather, ESPECIALLY humid weather. Does anybody know of a magical place that comes close to matching my descriptions?
Where should I move to if I like the outdoors?
