Through much debating I have decide I want to move to North Carolina. I have chosen North Carolina for the consistently warm climate which will offer me year round fishing, golfing, and outdoor recreation. In addition to climate the density of medium to large cities offer vast job opportunities.

Where are some areas to live that will put me close to North Carolinas best fishing waters while at the same time being off the coast far enough to be safe from hurricane and such.

I like the idea of locating myself between Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh.

Any suggestions that will help me chose a specific place to live. Any websites or specific info about studio/1bedroom apartments that are classy” yet rent for under $600/month. Preferably under $500/month.

Two questions:

Where are the best areas where I’ll be surrounded by numerous high quality fishing waters within 50 mile radius (roughly)?

What places offer contemporary/modernly styled studio/1bedroom apartment with a rent of under $500/month? (preferably closer to $350/mo mark)
