Where should i get tested?

I dont think i have any std's but i want to get tested just to be safe. Im 20 years old and on my parents insurance plan. I was planning on going to the gyno for the first time but im nervous that god forbid i do have an std my parents will find out. If i do have an std and i need medicine will it show up on the insurance? Also I was considering going to planned parenthood or somewhere but i dont know how that all works. I want this to be totally confidential so where should i go to get tested? Any advie or input?
 
Tell the doctor your problem. He can code the visit for confidentiality usually. You can go to a county health clinic and they will test you or tell you where to go for testing. You can also pay cash for the visit.
