I want to test the integrity of my internet connection. I am not looking for any old speed test. I would like to find a website or program that tests packet loss, protocol integrity, latency, etc. does anyone know of such a test?
oh, by the way, I'm looking for something that takes 3 minutes or longer. I have done tons of speed tests that only take 30 seconds, and they say nothing is wrong, but it is not keeping a prolonged connection. I ask this question, because recently ALL UDP transmissions have been very sketchy, when playing online games on my computer, or watching youtube videos, they are slow, jittery, and almost non-functional. Every 2 seconds when playing Battlefield 2 or Unreal Tournament 3 I get a jitter that lasts for 1/3 of a second. It is really unplayable. I wanted to test the integrity of the connection for myself, as I called my ISP 2 hours ago, they said it would be fixed in 15 min, and it is still as bad as ever.
