My 1994 Jeep Cherokee is having issues starting... pretty sure it's the starter. Where is the starter so I can bang on it to try and get the brushes to make connections so it will start one more time?
It is probably on the lower, right side of the engine, just in front of the transmission, not far behind the oil pan. A hammer really may do more damage than you think. Just get it replaced.
