Where is the speed sensor of my mazda protege 1993 dx?

I recently bought a Mazda protege 1993 dx 1.8L The engine sounds excellent, but when I run it the gears take a long time to shift. I've been searching on the net and it said it might be the speed sensor, since the speedometer isn't working. Also the "Hold" light keeps blinking. If you can help me with this I appreciate it :)
