Where is the signal switch located on a 2002 Dodge Caravan?

My mom's blinkers on her 2002 Dodge Caravan haven't really been working. They've been blinking in the opposite direction and some times it works and sometimes it doesn't, so we took it to Auto Zone but the person there couldn't find where the signal switch is located in the car or in the manual so I was wondering if anyone here knows where it is located?
