Where is the paint color code located on the engine of a?

The paint color of the car isn't located on the engine. They don't give color codes for engines anymore because they don't paint them. And if they do, they are black. But if you want the color code for the car, it is on the door tag. It will be below the V.I.N number and starts with a P.
 
It's not on the engine. It is part of your VIN number. Run your VIN(located on the inside of your door frame or on your dash(drivers side next to the wiper).
Also, some vehicles did have a separate color code on the door panel where the VIN is located.
