like i said before it's a 1990 Cadillac El-Dorado V-8 Engine.
The Trouble is that occasionally the car will break down completely the Radio, engine, windows, AC, everything electrical turns off. it comes back on within 2 minutes but it's happened 3 times this week and i'm trying to drive it conservatively but it's our only car.
it was suggested to clean the battery ports, and check the Grounding wire usually attached from the engine or battery to the body.
Is there a special solution for cleaning car batterys? or will water work (i hesitate to use water on a battery). I looked for the Grounding wire but i don't know what i'm looking for i've never touched a car before except to change oil.
