Where is the Fan relay on a 2001 Explorer Sport trac?

I am looking for the coolant fan relay on a 2001 Explorer sport trac. For like the AC and heat I either have High fan or nothing. I was wondering where this was located so I could replace it.

The relay you want is not the coolant sensor. You are looking for the resistor that operates the heater fan. If you go to auto zone auto store they can sell you one and show you where it is in your car.
 
From your description it is doubtful that you need a relay. However it usually is connected to the thermostat housing on the top front of the engine.
If the fan runs at all the relay is fine. What you probably have is a worn out switch in the dash. Easier to find, harder to replace.
