I tried to punch in an email addy and can not find the dang @ symbol on my TX. I know I am having a brain fart but can someone humor an old man and tell me where they hide it? Thanks. I just know I am gonna feel stupid when I am shown where it is. :(

You know how you "regularly" make the "@" symbol? Letter a with outer "swirl circle?" Well, if you get TealScript - you designate that as a custom stroke and you're done without the keyboard - very intuitive. You can even add custom "macros" like "(write the @ symbol) plus a line" and it'll give you

@.com

(then just fill in "before" part). It's a handy Godsend of being able to have Graffiti1, Graffiti2 and/or your OWN stuff - plus "customize" the writing slant and character recognition for YOUR style of writing to virtually eliminate errors. Just passing along . . . . cheers and glad you found your answer.

Groan, I am getting a brain ache. This stuff is so confusing. So many programs and such an old brain. I have been using a PC for about 13 years now but this is my first PDA.

Thanks to you for the input. Now I gotta figure out what the heck a Tealscript is :)

Tealpoint Software produces Tealpoint which is what PTL is referring to. It more closely resemebles G1 (graffiti original) that many of us grew up on with our Palm Pilots.

It is installed on nearly all of my devices. The name comes from an area just north of San Francisco in Marin County - their home base.
