I have a GS300 thats way outta timing. When I run my computer on it gives me the camshaft positioning sensor code. We saw a picture of it at autozone. But we cant find it by looking at the engine. We have a pdf manual for the 99 GS300 2JZGE and it rarely talks about the sensor at all.
Any help on where to find it would be appreciated.

Its on the right side (Intake side) of the motor towards the back, near the firewall... and towards the bottom of the head.. very hard to find but after looking and looking all around the head we finally found the little sucker.
Hope this helps people for future refference. I know if I woulda googled the camshaft positioning sensor and this would have popped up, It would have awnsered my prayers.
