where is the bleed valve for the radiator on a 1990 toyota celica gt?

i have a 1990 toyota celica 2ltr gt and i think it has an air lock in the system the temprature has started to rise suddenly so im going to bleed the radiator as it recently had a coolant change just to eliminate that then im going to check the water pump before i look at the dreaded broken head gasket but i cant find the radiator bleed valve anywhere and i was told by a friend of mine over the phone who is a mechanic there is 1 he just cant remember where it is can anyone help out please
