Where is the blackberry maps preloaded?

I don't know about pre-loaded since I don't have the Curve but if you can't locate it, go here: Blackberry Maps and download and install and then choose Run after the install. Then see if the icon is on your screen or in your menu depending on your theme.

Let me know if that doesn't work...

You need to connect BB to computer via USB, close desktop manager if it is open, and use internet explorer to go to the site, any other browser will not work, once there make sure that Active X control is enabled on IE and it should install on your device, but my curve came loaded with it, then I removed it, it was damn near impossible to get the BB site to cooperate with reinstalling it, tryed 5-6 times before it actually worked.
