Dont squat with spurs on!

Guest
I live in Wales and When i graduate from college in a couple of years time my friend and I want to move to London. The thing is i have never been to London before and I wanted to know where is the best place to live? I want to be a journalist in the fashion and London is the only way to go if I want to have a successful job with it. I want to be quite close to the central, but i have concern about the "rough" places in London so I would like to avoid them areas! Money is also not much of a problem for me but I would prefer an average flat to rent with two bedrooms for me and my friend. We have nearly zero experience so we would appreciate as much advice as possible!

I'm no expert, but I think Earlsfield and the south/south west are pretty good places. Possibly the cheapest when you dont include the 'rough' areas. I'm no expert so sorry if this doesn't help, you should look it up though. The best thing to do is go onto property and estate agent websites and look at what properties you can buy for a certain amount of money, and compare each area. You could look at where many fashion houses or magazine companies are based, and make sure theres good transportation links between. It's good to know so far before hand so you know what kind of costs are involved and where you should look when it comes to moving to London.
Good luck to you anyway, I shall be moving when I finish college - I plan abroad though, its cheaper ;)
