I'm looking for a place online to learn ASP .NET with VB. I can't afford to pay right now so it has to be free. Any suggestions on a good place to learn it. I would also like suggestions on books if you have any. Then I'm prepared when I have money to spend.
I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I am set up to run and test it. I'm a computer science student and therefore get Visual Studio free so that's not an issue.
On top of that this isn't my first language. So you're right, I'm not just looking for examples. I'm looking to actually learn it. If all I can get is examples, I can get by but I can find examples on my own. Really I'm just looking for recommendations. Even better, if they're from and for an experienced programmer.
Also the reason I'm specifically looking for VB is that's what my boss at work wants (temp job to help pay through school). It's really just a legacy thing. They've always used VB so they continue to use VB instead of C#. I wouldn't mind C# references as it's always good to add a new language to my skill set, however I am specifically looking for VB.
