I wouldn't be hitching a ride on that star if I were you.

Bikes come in and out of vogue. In the 70s it seemed that every bike you saw was a japanese straight 4. Now Harely has been outselling everything, you go down the street and every bike is a Harley or harley clone.

But the harley appeals to an aging set of customers. Their bikes are way over priced and have performance out of the stone age. The market is saturated and the economy has changed, Harley stock is in the tank. Emmisions requirements are going to be another big nail in the coffin.

I think if you want to be a motorcyle mechanic, now is the time to look at high tech.

i forget the name of the place, but there is a whole school dedicated to harley davidson motorcycles....you get a diploma and everything...im sure any harley dealer can lead you on the right path

Learn on the job if possible in your area. I have a few childhood buddies that are mechanics (auto) and neither went to a trade school. Both seem very knowledgeable and one even owns his own shop. See is someone will start you out cleaning the shop and changing oil. Why pay $$$ for a +-$50000 a year job???

im 17 and after high school i wanna work on harleys i dont know a lot but i would like to. where or what school is best for me?
