Im pretty sure the farther away from toyota center the cheaper the parking is in those lots that charge. If youre desperate for cheap and willing to walk 5-15 minutes, you can park at any of the parking lots across highway 59 opposite of minute maid and toyota center. i know a lot of people park in the kim son parking lot and along the streets but theres a lot more establishments that you "could" park at. Im always scared to park too far away from the place im going because i worry about people breaking into my car. Also that area across the freeway does get pretty empty after hours and if the game ends late, i would be a little nervous walking to my car because there are a lot of homeless folk. I also think that metered parking is free on weekends and after certain hours on weekdays.
