Where is my game progress at in Sims 3?

I'd like to know if there's a folder where I can find my game's progress like my sims details, home, like all the things I have in the game but in a folder...I hope you understand...because I want to uninstall and install the game again but I don't want to loose my progress in the game (my family, things, house, etc.)
