Where is he thermostat located on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500,4.7L? How hard is it to change?

I did that and found a small plug . I unscrewed it , but that wasn't where it is. I followed the line on to the block, and still can't seem to find a place for it nor how to get to it to change it. HELP!!!
