WELL, I have an 03 Hyundai Elantra, but I am sure it as about the same location. Which is right behind the catalytic converter closer to the exhaust. Check there.
if its the 4 cylinder engine, it will be in the front of the engine, on the exhaust manifold between the engine and the radiator. it will have 4 wires going into a connector. cant miss it
