where has the gardening channel gone and is ir coming back on anytime?

please help my mom loves gardening and owns 6 allotments and copes with them all she used to watch the gardening channel and she said that she would get the virgin media channels and phone taken off if it wasnt coming back on at any time so it would help if any of you knew if it is coming back on
what has replaced it?
is there a new gardening channel?
if no to these questions is there an alternative to it such as something on the web ?
