Where else can I get Scientology training without being in Scientology?

These videos of Scientology training doesn't seem all that bad. It fact, it seems pretty effective. It teaches people to be focused and assertive.

Where else can I learn this? I don't want to pay thousands of dollars per session and I don't want to learn about the alien stuff.

L. Ron Hubbard have to have burrowed this stuff from somewhere else. Where else can I learn this?
