as part of my new years resolution to watch as many old movies as i can i saw this one today on channel 5 with clint eastwood in must say i enjoyed it more than i thought i may
 
'Where Eagles Dare' is one of the better 'war' movies out there. If you enjoyed that then you might want to watch 'The Dirty Dozen' or 'Kelly's Heroes', which is slightly more tounge in cheek, but equally as entertaining. Both are shown regularly, although I think that channel five showed Kelly's Heroes not long before xmas...
