Where does the SL45 load the T9 LDB? I tried getting a ldb file from a Nokia firmware, then substituting English or other languages T9 from the MMC with the one I got, and loading it in the phone. It didn't appear to be working, though it loaded the fake English ldb without protest. Problem is now I tried getting original English t9 back - it loads it, but it doesn't use it. It's like I don't have any t9 functionality. For a few languages such as Hebrew and Arabic t9 input works as it should. Doesn't work for German, French and some other European languages.

My best guess is I overwrote something (custom t9 file was way larger than original english t9 ldb). I tried looking into the eeprom with skylords eeprom tool, but it doesn't appear to load the t9 in there. Can anyone please help me?

(For SL45v56) T9 is loaded into the 0x580000 area. If loading the correct english T9 file was not helping you, try this ones : upload address 0x580000 with size 0x40000 from the fresh Full Backup into your phone, and you will get the "original" T9 condition.

I'm having the same problem. Did the solutions work? How exactly could I do it using v-klay?
