Where does personal responsibility fit in the debate about Torture?

The law has been broken and now the party that yells Personal Responsibility from every hill top wants to fore go holding those responsible accountable.
I am for protecting no one Democrat or Republican, especially not the Lawyers whose ethical duty was to give sound legal advice not be their bosses yes men.
 
Exactly!

Patriots would do what needed to be done to get information and then would stand up and take the heat for their actions.

Cowards hide behind lawyers and mouthpieces, trying to redefine what they're doing as something innocuous like "enhanced interrogation techniques" and "extraordinary rendition". And then pretend that what they did wasn't illegal - simply because they say it wasn't.
 
I guess, the Republicans would only interested if there is sexual torture involved. Then they would impeach Bush!
 
"THE LAW HAS BEEN BROKEN" - it would be nice if you would cite the specifics rather than meander in a generality. If it has, then how about Misprision of a Felony for members of Congress who were privy to the reports.

"Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. "
