Where does all the blood come from when we have a period? How does our body produce

so much blood?!? Ok, what I mean is:
We probably have hundreds of periods in our life time
and lose alot of blood

HOW DOES OUR BODY PRODUCE SO MUCH DAMN BLOOD?
cos we're not putting it back inside?
im confused gah
