Where do you rest your foot when off the clutchon Jeep Wrangler?

I have a 88 Jeep Wrangler that has no place to rest your left foot when not on the clutch. Since I am new to learning manual, I was wondering what other Jeepers do? I don't want to rest it on the clutch and burn it out. Any suggestions for newbie? Thanks.
