Not that long ago, completed travel vouchers were paid at disbursing. Sometimes, if group military travel was involved such as a TDY deployment, the payment was made by check and was picked up in the Unit's S-1 shop.

These days, it is likely that it was a Check-to-bank payment since most active duty military are paid check to bank. The most reliable place to check is your husband's Unit's S-1 shop. They can tell him if his payment was check to bank (which should also show up on the LES). If they don't know, he can reference the phone call and ask them to call Disbursing travel section (many disbursing offices prefer to work through the S-1 shops and do not open the doors for walk-ins unless a payment is waiting for the Marine).

it should be direct deposited into the same place your pay goes. If it doesn't show up in a couple days, call the military pay office at his base.
