Hey all,

Since 2007, everytime my body tempature goes up (walking, anxiety, working out) or im exposed to the heat I get covered in hives. Sometimes even being in the cold I get it as well, just because im walking and my body tempature goes up. I get really really hot inside when I get the hives, so I always know when I have them, Its not just one part of me that gets the hives as well. Im covered from head to toe.

In 2007, it was just my neck/chest. Than spread to arms, stomach, back, legs and than by this year, it was also on my face. Its also gotten worse over time, back in 2007 i'd only get it when being exposed to the sun. Now its everything I menchioned above.

Everyday I get this. I cannot do anything anymore it feels like besides sit in a cool room all day and not do anything. It has gotten that bad over time.

I've been to a few doctors (allergist) and they tell me they dont know what to do. I dont know what to do either! Has anyone had this? If so what kind of doctors do I need to see? what is it called? can it go away or atleast be treated to where I can go out?

Pleaseeeeeee help.

Yes, it's possible to get hives from almost anything, including heat. Cold-induced hives, I've run into a few people with that one.

Have you tried a daily antihistamine? That's where I'd start. Zyrtec often works well for hives. If that doesn't help, there are others. Benadryl is probably the strongest, but that can make people very drowsy.

Maybe exercising by swimming in a cool pool would be safe for you?

Possibly a dermatologist would be helpful, or a different allergist.
