where do i get a sports bike appraised?

I have a bike that has a frame with bill of sale only. Its an 03 r6. The guy tried to pop a wheelie on it and damaged the plastics and gas tank but their is no frame damage. He sold it to me with a bill of sale and another post on here says to check to make sure its not stolen or salvage title. The vin is clear but Im trying to do step 2 (appraisal) so that I can obtain a title. If your answer does not pertain to my question, please dont waste my time. thx
