I was Hospitalized while I was pregnant with my 2 year old son due to my doctors negligence and refusal to check me for diabetes though the E.R. doctors had told him to in my emergency appointment they had referd me for. unknowingly he never tested me until several months into my pregnancy.Due to his neglegence I found I had dangerously high bllod sugars through my pregnancy and was hospitalized miles away from home.I was told that if my son was found to have long term side affects due to my untreated disease he should be charged with malpractice.Now that my son is 2 1/2 he is still not able to speak and or comprehend and is lacking severly in self help skills.I will be going through a screening with him for autism which all of the following are side affects from pregnancy and untreated diabetes.
