where did was the first dog found in history?

This is kind of a difficult question to answer. Wolves started living closer and closer to cavemen so that they could get a share of the scraps of food that were discarded. Wolves were one of the first kinds of sanitation crews. They kept the areas around the caves pretty clean. Dogs, of course, descended from wolves.The domestication process probably started when someone found an abandoned wolf puppy and when this happened will never be known. There are pictures of dogs in cave paintings and the Egyptians had dogs in hieroglyphics and artwork 5000 years ago..give or take a few. The Pharaoh hound and Iberian hound are very ancient breeds.
 
Human records don't go back that far..so no-one knows the answer. All we can do is carbon date skeletons to find the oldest known example of canine life.

They believe that dogs split off as a seperate species from wolves around 100,000 years ago.
Domestication of the dog is only around 14,000 years old.

It is thought that all modern dog breeds are actually the work of people.
