Where did Lincoln Park get their name from?

Just wondering, does anyone know where the band Linkin Park got their name from? Is it Lincoln Park in Detroit, or Chicago?
 
Even if a band sucks you should still spell there name right. Especially if you like them.
 
it's LINKIN PARK

they said they drove past that park all the time but they didn't want to be named Lincoln Park
