M minor league fan Guest Mar 5, 2009 #2 I don't know how it got started but at one time it was owned by Ralston Purina. They may have started it I'm not sure. For a short time the name was changed to Monterrey Jack. That did not go over too well. As far as I can tell its doing OK.
