Hello everyone! I currently live in Sacramento, CA and I was wondering where I can take my girlfriend on an overnight backpacking trip. Driving isn't too bad of an issue, but I wouldn't want to drive further than five hours. We're both in great shape and I have a good amount of experience in backpacking as I am an Eagle Scout. I just can't really think of where we can go. Probably cause I was too young to remember. Anyways, I'm really just wondering where we can go and if there are permits that we need.
