where can i take cooking classes during summer?

i am 16 years old and i will be having alot of free time during the summer and i was wondering where they offer classes around or in pasadena
 
You might try you jr or community colleges, libraries, or possible see if any local cooking schools in your area have such courses. If none of these avail you can go to a restaurant you really like, explain to the Head Chef you desire to learn to cook. Offer to work for a $1.00 per hour (or free) if he will teach you in his spare time, a sort of internship program.
