In any city, it's a problem. My solution was to rent a small 12 foot van from Ryder. Cost 87 bucks for the day. Stapled the inside of the cargo area with cardboard. Cost of cardboard $9 bucks. sprayed all my furniture in the rear of the van. Used quick drying spray paint. Made sure to park in deserted area (like under the west side highway. Kept the rear door of cargo area half way opened. Of course, for 2 night stands, it wouldn't pay for you to do all that. I had about eight pieces to do. My advise to you: If you stay in your appartment, don't spray them. Use a very fine brush. Or just stain them with an acrylic stain. You apply stain with a spunge or cloth applicator. And leave the windows open. Good Luck.
